Spring 2008

Our 3rd return to Bellegreen still as fantastic as the first, lovely walks, lovely location and looks brilliant with the snow. Sad to be leaving as we have come here for some years. Hope to return to Yorkshire very soon.

We had a lovely family celebration in respect of retirements, birthdays and birth of our third grandchild who joined our party - 7 weeks old. Fantastic location, fantastic cottage. Keith and Lyn are so thoughtful, the wine and Easter eggs really appreciated. Really recommend the Sunday carvery at the Black Bull. Children aged 8, 5, 2 years, 7 weeks all had a good time. Thank you ! Many thanks also to Dot. Will have to come back - apart from the lovely scenery and walks, need to read all the books !!!

Its all been said ! Lovely property - reflecting the owners' astounding kindness and thougfhtfulness. In a beautiful village full of friendly people.(Arkle Moor Riding Centre with lovely moorland rides). Immaculately clean property. Appreciated the Black Bull and the Bridge Inn.

A warm and cosy cottage, a relief to return to in such bitter April weather. Local pubs very friendly especially the Kings Arms and the Bridge Inn - good selction of draught beers. Many thanks.

Summer 2008

Fabulous holiday, lovely comfortable cottage, weather people and pubs couldn't be bettered. Certain to return. Thank you.

The house is everything that everyone else has said. Very comfortable, very well equipped and very welcoming. We had some days of oh so very heavy rain followed by several days of sunny and very hot weather. The children aged 3-8 thoroughly enjoyed their holiday and are already asking to come back ! Reeth is the most beautiful place to stay, so peaceful and quiet. Back to the 'normal' life now but would love to return here. Thanks you for the use of this lovely house.

Wonderful holiday in comfortable Bellegreen. Walked our socks off - some decided to have an impromptu dip ! Recommend food at Grinton and Buck Inn.

Autumn 2008

Lovely holiday. Weather not so great but we don't expect it to be hot ! Toured around quite a bit.

This is our second visit to Bellegreen and the thoughtfulness involved in everything about it continues to delight. We always forget something and this year it was napkins and candles, only to find both in abundance. Thank you so much for the wine, that really was the icing on the cake ! and thank you for making our stay so fabulous. Even the weather was kind - only one day did we decide to take a day off walking because it rained a bit. We'll be back !

Have had a really good week - walking in all weathers ! Ex food at Bridge Inn Grinton. House is very well equipped, everything we needed, plus spares of anything you could think of !

Winter 2008

Great holiday. Great cottage. Great pubs. Great walks. Many thanks for everything. I am sure we will be back.

We have been coming for 5 years with Nick and friends but this is the first time with a baby (3 months) and a dog. We had a fantastic break and had everything we needed including the cot which was perfect. Thank you.

Another Fab Holiday in Reeth, plus snow on the hills ! Lovely walking as ever. We are back next May - can't wait. Thank you.

We've had a lovely holiday. Its really warm and comfortable here. Reeth is a perfect setting for a great Yorkhire holiday.

What a wonderful week we've had here at Bellegreen. It is a lovely house, warm and welcoming. All the Christmas decorations and gifts really added to our lovely Christmas here. The house is so well equipped it was easy to cook Christmas dinner for 11 ! Thank you very much for everything - as we pack up this morning the children have asked if they could live here for ever.
